The operator surface is a normal chat conversation on WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, or a voice line. The customer surface is the same plus inbound phone, contact forms, and email. Instagram Direct and Facebook Messenger handle social inbound seamlessly. Voice is a first-class surface — BIOS answers inbound calls in your brand voice with streaming low-latency speech and accepts operator instructions spoken to a dedicated number. Email runs through Postmark or a customer-managed SMTP. SMS runs through AWS Pinpoint or Twilio where regional consent rules allow.

All channels share the same conversation memory, the same brand voice, the same policy ceilings, and the same audit log. Customers can switch channels mid-thread and BIOS continues.
