Automotive automation for dealerships, garages and mobility services

Nordix BIOS books test drives on WhatsApp, runs the service-reminder cycle, generates quotes from VIN and routes leads by car model interest.

How does Nordix BIOS keep the service bay full?

BIOS watches the customer database for the right intervals — 10,000 km oil change, annual inspection, two-year brake check, manufacturer recall — and reaches out at the right moment. The customer gets a WhatsApp message offering three available slots; the booking confirms in chat; the workshop calendar fills itself.

The cycle is per vehicle, not per customer. A family with three cars sees three separate reminder threads. Loaner-car coordination, courtesy pickup and post-service satisfaction follow-up all run on the same engine.

For dealerships, quote generation works the same way. The customer sends a VIN or a stock number, BIOS pulls the spec from the DMS, generates the trade-in valuation if asked, and produces a quote PDF the customer can sign or forward. The salesperson takes over for the negotiation.

Recall campaigns used to sit on a spreadsheet and we'd close maybe 60 percent. BIOS works the WhatsApp threads in parallel across all four locations and we run at 93 percent recall completion. The bay is full every Monday.

Sales leads and the right salesperson

When a lead lands — a website form, a WhatsApp message, a portal enquiry — BIOS asks the qualification questions: budget, financing or cash, trade-in, preferred fuel, timeline. Routing rules pick the salesperson with the right expertise (EV specialist, commercial vehicles, premium brand) and the right opening slot. The salesperson gets the full thread when they pick up.

Parts inventory runs in the background. BIOS watches stock levels, sends purchase orders to suppliers when thresholds hit, follows up on overdue POs and reconciles the receipt against the goods-in note. The service advisor stops chasing parts and starts advising.

Frequently asked questions

  • Which DMS systems does Nordix BIOS integrate with?

Nordix BIOS connects to the major dealer management systems through their published APIs — CDK, Reynolds, Tekion, Autoline, Incadea and the European DMS leaders. For independent garages on smaller systems, BIOS uses the same screen automation it uses elsewhere in operations. Vehicle history, service records, customer database and parts inventory flow both directions.

  • How does the VIN-to-quote flow work?

A customer sends a VIN, a stock number or even a photo of the registration document on WhatsApp. Nordix BIOS decodes the VIN, pulls the spec, options and current valuation from the DMS plus the secondary-market data provider the dealership uses, and produces a trade-in or sale quote PDF in the dealership brand. The salesperson sees the thread and takes over for negotiation.

  • How does BIOS handle a manufacturer recall campaign?

When the manufacturer pushes a recall, Nordix BIOS reads the affected VIN list, cross-references the customer database and runs an outbound WhatsApp campaign to the owners. Each message offers the available service slots at the closest workshop, books on confirmation and updates the recall record. The service manager sees a live dashboard of completion rate, and BIOS escalates the long tail to the call agent.

  • Can BIOS manage parts inventory and supplier reordering?

Yes. Nordix BIOS watches stock levels in the DMS, sends purchase orders to suppliers when thresholds hit, and follows up on overdue POs through email or the supplier's portal. The service advisor receives a daily summary of incoming parts and any exceptions. For custom-order parts, BIOS messages the customer with ETA updates automatically.

  • How does BIOS route leads by model interest?

Qualification asks the lead which model, fuel type, budget and timeline they care about, and routing rules pick the salesperson — by brand expertise, by language, by EV or ICE specialty, by round-robin within the matching pool. The salesperson opens WhatsApp to the full thread, the lead profile in the CRM and any prior service history for the household.

  • Does BIOS handle multilingual customer bases?

Yes. Nordix BIOS speaks English, Portuguese, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Norwegian and a long tail of additional languages out of the box, with the same DMS integration in each one. Dealerships in border regions and tourist markets typically run three or four locales at once. The customer sees the language of their device; the dealership keeps its working language internal.
